What happens next?
- CMX may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. Never email your password, Google password, access token, or full bank credentials.
- We will identify information associated with your account, including a connected YouTube integration where applicable, and action the request under applicable law and the timelines in our Privacy Policy.
- For YouTube API Data, CMX must delete relevant data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days of a deletion request or revocation through a CMX-controlled mechanism, and within 30 calendar days where authorization is revoked through Google security settings, as applicable under YouTube policy.
- Some limited records may need to be retained to meet legal, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations. If an exception applies, CMX will explain it in its response.
Disconnect Google or YouTube access
You can also review or revoke Google access at Google security settings. Revoking access with Google is separate from deleting data stored by CMX, so please submit a CMX deletion request as well if you want CMX to remove stored information associated with the connection. CMX deletion does not delete videos or other content held by YouTube itself.
The deletion timelines above are commitments that CMX must support operationally. The deployed system must be tested to confirm token revocation, recognition of revoked authorization, deletion of associated database and storage records, and handling of backups and retained transaction records.
